A Little About Me…

My name is Katie Bailey.  I grew up in Arizona and I love the sunshine!  I have been involved in the ministry in some way or another since I was a teenager.  I love the Lord with all my heart and I have always just wanted to work for Him.  Lucky for me, the Bible says that He counted me faithful and put me in the ministry!  (1 Tim 1:12).

I graduated from Northwest University in 2004 with a degree in Psychology.  During my Senior year at Northwest, I really felt like God was drawing me toward a life in missions.  I remained open to Him and the work He was doing in my life.  Over the next year and a half I grew and learned so much.  God did amazing things in my life!  In January of 2006, I moved to the Netherlands.  I worked with a team to plant an International English Speaking church in Hilversum, (www.hicc.nl) which is a city about 12 miles outside of Amsterdam.  This was an incredible experience for me.  I learned so much and God continued to call me.

In the fall of 2009, I will be moving to Paris, France to work with a team to plant an International Church and Ministry center in the greater Paris area.  Paris is a city full of people from different countries and cultures.  Our church “The Bridge” will provide a way for these cultures to connect.  I am really, really excited about this project and the life that I have.  God has called me and I praise Him that I can serve Him in this way!

I have been here for almost 2 years now, and I have been feeling lately like God has not used me in any way here, because i am so shy and quiet, but your sermon really spoke to me and i know God can use me and will use me. Thank you.
